I am going to do Jillian Michaels’ Ripped in 30. I found the DVD while unpacking. (I just moved house. Lots has happened since I last blogged.) When I first bought it, I remember being distinctly unimpressed with her pushup form and setting it aside. Also the nutrition plan is something like 1400 calories a day, which, yeah, most people will lose weight on. Kind of eyeroll-inducing.
But then I remembered that I can’t even do one pushup anymore, so who am I to talk? (Still would fail her if I was grading her during an APFT, though.)
I went for a short hike this morning at Peachtree Rock Heritage Preserve. It’s in Lexington County, about 15 miles away from Columbia.
I’ve been sick these past few weeks (like, had-to-be-hospitalized sick), and I wanted something to ease my way back into my usual activities. Peachtree Rock was just what the doctor ordered. (more…)
